I've said it before and I'll say it at least 189,097 more times before I drop dead and that is that my clients are the greatest. The GREATEST. I absolutely adore, love. obsess, admire and lightly stalk all of my people and they know it...and they reciprocate. I'm picky about the clients I take on because I need to have a strong connection with them so that I can give them a little piece of my soul in an image. This wedding is a perfect example of just that.
Jake and Jessica are no exception. In fact Jessica and I often text each other and she is fluent in speaking in Gifs just like me so if that doesn't tell you what our connection is then I don't know what does. This wedding was a dream to photograph not because it was in the perfect setting (although it most definitely was) but because every moment was real, genuine, full of love and full of excitement for their future. I left this wedding feeling a renewed sense of why this job is so meaningful to me. Jake and Jessica are disgustingly in love and everything you should be if you are choosing to spend forever together.
We started the day with some getting ready photos and several first looks. First look with bridesmaids and the brides dad and then finally a first look with the bride and groom where they exchanged the most beautiful wedding vows before their ceremony. I cried, my second shooter cried and Jake and Jessica wiped each others tears. The rest of the day was filled with golden light, so much laughing my abs hurt the next day and lots of Tito's Vodka which is just how I like it. I'm forever honored to be a part of so many amazing people lives. I hope you enjoy a little look at what it means to be #PerfectlyPopeyus
